North Coast Tour – Discover the wildlife that lives along the northern coast of Scotland with Caithness Wildlife Tours. We will visit sea cliffs, beaches and sheltered coves along the wild north coast.
Half-day North Coast Tours start at 9 am on most days throughout the year, with the departure location to be advised on booking. A half-day tour lasts approximately four hours and costs from £50 per person (minimum of two people).
There will be plenty of time to take photos, so don’t forget to bring your camera. And don’t forget your walking shoes, and warm and waterproof outdoor clothing – it is best to be prepared for all weather conditions in Caithness.
The North Coast Tour includes stops at Dunnet Beach, Dunnet Head, and Duncansby Stacks, where you are likely to see a range of sea birds, waders and waterfowl, birds of prey, seals, and if you are very lucky, cetaceans or even an otter. But please note that we can never 100% guarantee that we will see any given species on a tour. Have a look at the Wildlife Diary and visit us on Facebook to see which species are likely to be in Caithness when you are here.
If booking for one please contact us first to discuss tour availability and pricing
